Declaration of death

Who declares?
A relative or someone having thorough information on the deceased

When to declare?
With in 03 days in case of natural death

Where to declare?
The death shall be declared to the competent registrar.
If the legal deadline is not observed, the death can not be recorded in the civil status register unless authorized by the president of the cantonal court.

Documents to be submitted before the burial :
* medical certificate testifying that the death is natural
* burial authorization issued by the concerned mayor
